A trout competition took place on Sunday 16 th August.
This competition was catch and release only. Winds was fresh
easterly with plenty of cloud. Water levels were still
remarkably high for this time of year. There was a great
turnout on the shoreline. The social distance rule was strictly
adhered to. On the day 1 st place went to Barney Kelly and
Eoin Henry. 2 nd place went to Pat McCallon and Toby O’
Brien. 3 rd place went to Stephen Conway and Manus Conway.
Joint 4 th place went to John Naughton and Philip Lennon /
David Grehan and John Devine. 40 boats took part.
