A trout competition took place on Sunday 09 th August. This competition was catch and release only. Winds was exceptionally light with plenty of cloud. Water levels were still remarkably high for this time of year. There was a great turnout on the shoreline. The social distance rule was strictly adhered to. On the day 1 st place went to Joe Fallon and James Fallon. 2 nd place went to George Kearney and Martin Monaghan. 3 rd place went to Pat McCallon and Toby O’Brien. Joint 4 th place went to Michael Conway and Steven McManus / Johnny Green and Caolan Green.
Thanks also to Richie Fallon and Paul Fallon who were captains of the day. Raffle winner was Jerry Wykes and Gabriel Wykes. 37 boats took part.
