The Deceased Members pike competition took place on
Sunday 19th July. Strict social distancing guidelines were
adhered to. This competition was held on lough Ree.
Weather conditions were good with good sunny spells. There
was a great turnout at the starting point. On the day 1 st place
went to Brian Mullin & John Mullin. 2 nd place went to Des
Ruane & Angela Conway. 3 rd place went to Robbie
McCormack. 4 th place went to Stephen Conway & Manus
Conway. 5 th place went to Brendan Bannon & Benny
Bannon.
Thanks to Martin Monaghan who was captain of the
day. Raffle winner was Frank Earls & Pat Tumulty. There
was a raffle for a TV, and this was won by Sean Ryan. 41
boats took part.
